In my experience, these tapes are best listened to on a long drive at night, preferably on back roads. But make sure you're awake and reasonably unaltered, as the experience has a hypnotic quality!

Fully agree. These shows do have a hypnotic & unbelievable quality of music. The Matrix must have been a very special place for the band to perform. As Tell mentioned, everyone should check these shows out, especially if they like the early jamming "Dead."
